Talk it out

Talking about mental health is becoming a new cool nowadays, Every now and then, on TV Series, Movies, news, Articles and almost everywhere we see how depression is real, and “Talking about it” helps the victim getting out of it.

Well, It is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, If you are suffering from mental health issues, “Talk it out”.

Talk to whom? & Why?

Now, here is my analysis, For more than one and half a decade, Social Media has become integral part of our day to day lives & we all have been brought really closer to each other more than ever.

We talk, We pretend, We celebrate and sometimes even find soulmates on social media.

Now if doing that somehow brings Mental Health Issues(a.k.a depression). Then how is it going to get resolved by doing the same(“Talking about it”) thing.

You are Being Lied

We all are being lied, by such bloggers, entrepreneurs & life coaches(self called “experts”)who want to first sell the depression & then the cure.

It is like COVID-19, Create a deadly virus first, and then sell the vaccine for it.

It is like advertisement industry, Make people feel they are lacking things in their lives and then sell the exact same product to make them feel better.

Is depression real?

Yes, It could be, But who else is better to say it than a psychiatrist.

But if a self called expert => social media influencer / blogger / life coach tells you that,

If you are facing these 5 problems in your life, then you are depressed. And He / She can help you with curing your depression by joining their so call “Masterclass”.

And if you believe such stupidity, then

Either you are a fool or you are a fool

Final Words:

I am not an expert, nor do I have any intentions of giving any lecture on “5 things you should know about mental health”.

I’m just an annoyed person who is fed up to see, how people interested in making other people feel depressed and then claiming how they can cure it.
